Sie ist offensichtlich so eine Art
amerikanische Sabine Christiansen. Blond, gut aussehend und mit
dem unwiderstehlichen Charme einer kalten Dose Bier: Diane Sawyer.
Eine Erfolgs-immer-Top-auf-alles-eine-Antwort-Frau. Die Amis
scheinen sie zu mögen. Aber was sagt das, sie ist Mainstream durch
und durch und so sind auch ihre Fragen. Dennoch, sie kommt, im
Gegensatz zu unserer blauen Kugelfrau Christiansen, mit ihrem, na Sie
wissen schon, ….worauf sie sitzt…., mal in die Höhe und fliegt
sogar um die Welt um andere Leute zu interviewen. Castro, General
Manuel Noriega, Präsident Saddam Hussein, Bush sowieso und eben auch
Präsident Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Da musste sie ein Kopftuch
tragen. Warum? „It’s the law, Mam“.
Das hat sie dann offensichtlich so begeistert, dass sie gleich noch
einen Bericht über die fröhlichen Iranierinnen nachschob. Da
wir mit Iranern befreundet sind besitze ich mehrere Stunden
Videomaterial, das Iranerinnen in ihrem privaten Umfeld zeigt.
Ich kann es hier natürlich nicht zeigen, es würde unsere Freundschaft
gefährden. Zugegeben, das Leben unterscheidet sich fast nicht von
dem Leben wie meine Eltern es in Berlin lebten, mit uns als
Kindern und ihren Freunden. Allerdings-und das vergisst „dear Diane“
zu sagen: Es ist das Leben einer ganz kleinen Minderheit der
oberen Gesellschaftsschicht in Teheran. Aber es zeigt auch, dass
noch einmal Welten zwischen den aufgeschlossenen und weitgehend
selbstständigen iranischen Kopftuchträgerinnen, dieser Schichten in
Teheran, und ihren Geschlechtsgenossinnen in Saudi Arabien
liegen. So gesehen, kann man wirklich sagen glückliche Iranerinnen.
Und viele, wie unsere Freundin Sepideh sind trotzdem froh, kaum
im Ausland, sich des Kopftuches entledigen
zu können. Aber bei allen Bemühungen, westlicher Frauen, die uns von
dem angenehmen Schutz erzählen, die sich im Fernsehen, als
Menschenrechtsbeauftragte oder in der Modewelt austoben: Ich
möchte dennoch nicht meine Tochter oder Enkeltöchter eines
Tages mit einem Kopftuch sehen.
Und ich werde alles dafür tun, dass
es soweit nicht kommt.
