  Oh, wundervolles Samarra...

Das ist das was uns Wikipedia verrät. In dieser Stadt sind 70 Prozent aller jungen Männer zwischen 18 und 35 Jahren arbeitslos. Eine Bevölkerung die nie gelernt hat sich konstruktiv um die eigene Stadt zu bemühen und ein Gemeinwesen zu
schaffen, das jungen Menschen eine Perspektive bildet, kann über so viel Unverstand der sinnlosen Zerstörung eines architektonischen Schmuckstückes und Heiligtums nicht sonderlich verwundert sein. Die Extremisten sind, was anzunehmen ist, aus der Gegend, sie sind die Brut, die die Mullahs erzogen und beeinflusst haben. Eine Religion deren
Vertreter es nicht schaffen den pädagogischen Auftrag, der mit der Lehre verbunden ist, positiv den ihnen Anvertrauten zu vermitteln, ist es nicht wert vertieft zu werden. (Insofern sind die deutschen Konvertiten überhaupt nicht zu verstehen.) Bei aller Tragik und dem Kummer den jeder, auch derjenige der nicht dem Islam angehört, aber Sinn
für Schönheit und Größe in der Architektur hat empfinden muss, sollte sich die Frage stellen wann der Kölner Dom, das Ulmer Münster oder der Stephansdom in die Luft fliegen. Solange in Deutschland Staatsanwälte hinter bedruckten Klorollen und ihren Designern herjagen habe ich nicht die Hoffnung, das die Gefahr eines Terrorismus „empörter
muslimischer Mitbürger“ wirklich ernst genommen wird.
IRAQ the Model, ein interessanter irakischer Blog, eines Irakers der in Bagdad wohnt schreibt allerdings, er glaube, daß der Terror von außen, also von Ausländern verübt wurde:

I believe there are foreign terror groups behind this attack and I don't think local insurgent would do such a thing, simply because this particular shrine had been in Sunni territory for a thousand years and the residents of Samarra had always benefited from the movement of religious tourism and pilgrimage.
