We seem to have overcome Soviet fascism,
though the heirs of Nazi-fascism live; but the biggest threat to freedom lies
in Islamic fascism.
Freedom is not self-evident.
We are at war – and we have to defend ourselves. For the sake of
our children.

an iranian girl is writing about anything!! Nach dem hervorragenden Artikel von Navid Kermani „Unser peinlicher Präsident“ im
Feuilleton der ZEIT möchte ich ergänzend auf diesen Blog aufmerksam machen. Meine Frau fand ihn und klickt ihn häufig an. Absolut lesenswert. Das ist die Seite die wir nicht kennen. Sie schreibt z.B.:
"iranian culture is in transition from traditional toward modern. in traditional families, girl was trained to become a housewife and just do house hold chores, in other hand, boy was supposed to learn a skill, get a job and manage his future family. in iran today, things are different, some girls learn
skills too, go to work and make money,..."
weiter unten stöhnt sie über ihre Hungergefühle während des Ramadan und daß ihr unter dem Kopftuch so heiß ist. Gut geschrieben gibt dieser Blog Einblicke in das Alltagsleben einer jungen Frau, wir schätzen sie auf Anfang zwanzig. Bedauerlicherweise hat sie schon einen Monat nicht geupdated und wir hoffen, daß ihr nichts passiert ist. (Wobei
man bei einem iranischen Blogger natürlich nicht an einen Autounfall denkt....)
Hoffentlich macht Iranian Girl demnächst ein
update.
