We seem to have overcome Soviet fascism,
though the heirs of Nazi-fascism live; but the biggest threat to freedom lies
in Islamic fascism.
Freedom is not self-evident.
We are at war – and we have to defend ourselves. For the sake of
our children.

 "The Healing Teddies Project was founded to help ease the pain of terror victims through special healing
teddy bears, get well cards and condolence wishes from around the globe". Es gibt natürlich in zwischen etliche Projekte die sich um Verletzte oder Hinterbliebene kümmern. Theoretisch
könnten wir allein mit den Hinweisen auf diese Projekte ganze Seiten füllen. Dennoch, aus einer großen Sympathie, für Israel und unschuldige israelische Bürger, die völlig sinnlosen Terrorattacken zum Opfer fallen, wollen wir auf dieses Projekt hinweisen. Unsere eigene Tochter war Anfang des Jahres schwer erkrankt und obwohl wir schon vorher
eine Kuscheltierhandlung hätten aufmachen können, hat uns als Eltern die neue Flut von Teddys und anderen Kuscheltieren die über uns hereinbrach sehr berührt. Und auch unserer Tochter hat es geholfen. Natürlich nicht im medizinischen Sinne, aber die Kinderaugen strahlten. Und wir haben genug Fantasie um uns vorzustellen, daß kleine
Aufmerksamkeiten dieser Art Gewaltopfern einen winzigen Trost spenden. Nicht der materielle Wert. Die Tatsache, da9 jemand an einen gedacht hat. http://www.healingteddies.org/ |
